Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Director Service Line to join our growing Quality Care Management team located in Richland, Washington!

Shift Details: Full-Time, 1.0, 8 hour Day shift


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution.

  • Five (5) years general healthcare experience which includes three (3) years in a leadership capacity related to healthcare delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution.

  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

As a Director Service Line you will provide leadership for all assigned service lines, with the Clinical Institutes, and across the care continuum. This role will work collaboratively with operational and clinical leadership to ensure alignment with the Clinical Institutions and day to day operations is strong.

  • Understand, embrace, and instill Kadlec’s and Providence St. Mary Medical Center Mission, Vision and Values.

  • Understand, embrace, and support Kadlec and PSMMC Administrative and operational priorities.

  • Collaborate with leadership and providers within the specific service line to meet institute priorities and metrics as well as best practice.

  • Lead high performance work groups to implement best practices and operationalize new priorities from the institutes.

  • Active participant in service line Value Streams the caregiver represents.

  • Include clinical outcome monitors relevant to the service line which can be benchmarked regionally and nationally in the quality management plan.

  • Establish an effective multidisciplinary service-line team to guide the development and maintenance of the outlined specialty.

  • Establish Service Line specific to specialty for Governance Council with membership to include key stakeholders from Kadlec and Providence St. Mary Medical Center.

  • Ensure regional representation at the PH&S System Clinical Program Services/Institute meetings and communicates pertinent information from the institute meetings to key stakeholders and leaders.

  • Collaborate with the quality team to ensure appropriate data for their service line(s) is monitored and submitted as appropriate.

  • Provide fiscal and business planning that promotes revenue enhancements and cost efficiency.

  • Demonstrate ability to work with patients, core leaders, providers and individuals of various ages’ groups.

  • Consider patient, manager/client, individual background and work history to effectuate positive work experience/relationship.

  • Assure compliance with PH&S confidentiality policies. Maintains confidentiality of patient and/or business related information.

  • Identify role and responsibility in complying with PH&S and unit specific safety and security policies, plan and procedures:

  • State the evacuation routes in case of fires.

  • State fire plan and name location of fire information.

  • Attend annual safety education and training.

  • Identify potential or actual unsafe situations in patient or office environment, providing appropriate interventions to rectify situation.

  • Address safety needs as part of the Director Role communication as appropriate, with all members of the healthcare team.

  • Complete all tasks and duties accurately and timely within assigned shift.

  • Demonstrate initiative to perform job duties autonomously.

  • Attend mandatory and other education offerings per department and hospital requirements.

  • Assist with education, as applicable.
