Kadlec Regional Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our growing Occupational Therapy team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Full-Time, 1.0, 40 Hour Variable Shift
Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current WA State Licensure.
A limited permit will be considered in lieu of licensure with state licensure to follow within 6 months from date of hire into the position.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
Membership in state and national professional organizations
One (1) year occupational Therapist experience.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills
Duties include, but not limited to, the following:
As an Occupational Therapist you will provide specific treatment programs for patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy and as prescribed by a physician and performs related duties as assigned.

Evaluate patients and plans/implements specific treatment programs for patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Provide home visits when needed for generalization of treatment strategies into the home environment, and to evaluate home safety.
Prepare documentation required by the department/profession in a timely and accurate manner.
Promote teamwork, with emphasis on timely and understandable communication of patient care information to the patient and between care providers.
Demonstrate skills that are required for specialty clinical practice and regulatory requirements.
Provide age appropriate care.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with customers and co-workers.
Participate in clinical supervision of students through accredited occupational therapy programs.
Supervise aides and volunteers as needed.
Participate in new employee orientation and Provide in-service education to the Medical Center and community when appropriate.
Participate in the department’s quality program competencies and program development.
Demonstrate proficiency with the use of computers.
