Kadlec Operating Room Inventory Clerk- Materials Management in Richland, Washington

Description:

Kadlec Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a Operating Room Inventory Clerk to join our growing Materials Management team located in Richland, Washington!

Shift Details: Full time, 1.0. Day Shift

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • One year of Stockroom, general office, or clerical experience, which includes data entry experience.

Preffered Requirements:

  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Demonstrate and sustain compliance with Kadlec Caregiver Expectations Standard of Excellence and Code of Conduct.

• Maintain accurate inventory of existing stock, conducting annual and special inventories.

• Adjust inventory records to reflect actual stock.

• Monitor inventory for unusual activity and reports to appropriate personnel.

• Place/receive and disperse orders of supplies/equipment.

• Unpack and check supplies/equipment for condition.

• Verifiy quantity received and price noted on bill of lading; posts quantities received and issued to master inventory list.

• Participate in the decision of where materials and equipment are to be stored.

• Assist in maintaining the storeroom in a clean and orderly condition.

• Maintain storage to meet fire, safety and health code requirements.

• Rotate stock to ensure that older items are used first and removes out-of-date items from shelves and direct disposal.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly condition in the Perioperative Department.

• Adhere to standard policies as outlined in department related to infection control, fire and safety, hazardous chemicals, personnel policies and departmental procedures.

• Participate in unit and house-wide quality improvement activities.
