Kadlec Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist to join our growing Radiology team located in Richland, Washington!

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology
Registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed in Radiology (R) within 3 months of hire date.
Current WA State X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist Licensure.
If licensed as an X-Ray Technician, must be currently eligible for the Radiologic Technologist license and must have license within 3 months of hire date.
Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
Preferred Qualifications:
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Operate X-ray and related equipment systems. Perform Radiologic procedures. Deliver safe, high quality patient care. Adhere to KRMC policies and goals.
Demonstrate and sustain compliance with Kadlec Caregiver Expectations Standard of Excellence and Code of Conduct
Report to and works cooperatively with the Radiology Supervisor. Seeks advice and consent
Use an AIDET approach during all patient encounters
Adhere to KRMC / Radiology department policies and protocols
Work occasional and reasonable shift variations including holiday assignments
Is a responsible steward of equipment. Maintains a clean / orderly EOC
Perform Radiology procedures as determined by department protocols
Prepare exam rooms, equipment, materials and staff according to protocol
Validate physician orders, confirms patient ID, reconciles order, confirms site/side, screens for pregnancy, assesses patient and conducts proper hand-offs
Adjust procedure according to need. Assumes responsibility for the patient’s well being
Practice radiation safety, aseptic technique and infection control
Assist and operate under the direction of the attending Radiologist
Work cooperatively with co-workers, physicians and other staff to achieve clinical objectives
Produce quality Radiographs consistent with department standards
Complete procedural forms / documentation, electronic medical record exercises
Participate in unit and house-wide quality improvement activities in order to improve patient care and comply with regulatory groups such as Leapfrog and Core Measures
Assume special duties or dedicated roles within the realm of Radiology operations
Support the goals of the Student Program. Acts as an effective Student Mentor
Respect patient confidentiality
Report patient complaints, equipment failures and unethical practices
